COMPLEMENTARY CANCER THERAPY

Here at vIVid, we have options when it comes to your complementary/alternative cancer therapy. Such options may include: calculated doses of high dose Vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid, and mistletoe. The frequency and duration of treatment are dependent upon the type of cancer and stage, however, we are able to work around your time and finances to make sure it’s the best option for you. For a consultation, research studies, and to set up your therapy approach, please email centraliowa@livin-vivid.com, or call 515-415-1550.

Therapy starts at $129

  • High Dose Vitamin C and Cancer: Vitamin C converts from antioxidant to pro-oxidant when given intravenously at high-dose. It is toxic toward cancer cells. It is healthy for regular cells. It can help decrease side effects from chemotherapy and radiation. May help enhance the effectiveness of chemotherapy and radiation. Safe to use for “secondary prevention” in order to target unseen cancer cells before they form into tumors. Vitamin C produces hydrogen peroxide which is directly toxic to the cancer cells.

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid and Cancer: Forces anaerobic cancer cells into an aerobic state; prevents metastasis by inhibiting epithelial mesenchymal transition. Interferes with mitochondrial energy production of the cancer cells.

  • Mistletoe and Cancer: Can contribute to cancer cell death and stimulates the patients immune system. 47% prevention of tumor recurrence, 85% had beneficial effects. Those treated with mistletoe in research did better on all 6 functional scales and on 7 of 9 symptom scales: pain fatigue, appetite loss and insomnia.
